Barbara Diane Bacon, 57, of Cromwell, passed away of cancer on Wednesday, August 26th at Masonicare Hospice Unit in Wallingford. Born in Hartford on July 28, 1958, she was the daughter of C. William and Mary (Meyfarth) Bacon. The majority of her life, Barbara lived in Cromwell and graduated from Cromwell High School in 1976. She earned her accounting degree from University of North Carolina-Charlotte in 1980 and is also a registered CPA. Most of her career was spent at Yale University, working 23 years in the Finance Department. Barbara’s most recent title was the Manager of the General Ledger at Yale.
