On Monday, December 21, 2020, Barbara Greene Gunn passed away at the age of 83. Barbara was born on December 12, 1937, to Nellie and Charles Greene. She married Samuel Cobb Gunn Jr., and had one son, Jeffrey Gunn.
Barbara and Sam lived in Atlanta for many years before moving to Woodbury, Georgia, where she spent the last decades of her life at a family home lovingly called “the farm”. She had five grandchildren whom she doted on, and three great-grandchildren. She delighted in spoiling them, spending much of her time and energy on them. Barbara had a great love for pretty things, often spending her time crocheting and sewing, hobbies which she passed on to her granddaughters. She enjoyed spending time on making the things around her pretty, and felt that having nice things made one’s life nice. She spent her time on making sure that those around her were happy and had what they needed.
Barbara is survived by her son, Jeffrey; her grandchildren, Kelly, Andrew, Joseph, Catherine,and David; her great-grandchildren, Aiden, Alayna, and Abigail; her brother-in-law, Thomas Gunn; and several cousins.
