Barbara Ann (Pereira) Silva, 80 of Metacom Avenue passed away on July 15, 2020 at Silver Creek Manor. She was the wife of the late Rudolph Gilliard and the late Richard Silva.
Born in Bristol, she was the daughter of the late Manuel “Boots” Pereira and Agnes (Gablinske) Pereira. She is survived by her daughters Cynthia “Cindi” Fanning and her husband Michael of Portsmouth, Lisa Purcell and her husband Mark of Tiverton; grandchildren Ashley Brown and her husband Mike, Matthew Fanning, Amanda Purcell and Adam “AJ” Purcell and great grandchildren Richard Fanning, Liara Fanning and Halle Purcell. She is also survived by her stepchildren Cindy Durand, Sharon Hunt and her husband John, Laurie LaRoche and her husband Mark, Cheryl Cabral and her husband Gilbert and former step son in law Michael Durand. She also leaves behind several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Manuel “Sonny” Pereira and stepmother of the late Richard Paul Silva.
