Together Again Barbara Ann Lamancusa, age 79, of Salem, Ohio, died at 4:50 p.m. on Monday, October 8, 2012 at her home. She was born July 21, 1933 in Crawford County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Cecil and Marian (Haus) Leonhart. Barbara Ann was a graduate of North Lima High School and valedictorian of the 1950 graduating class. She was a self-employed farmer for 50 years and was a class aide in the Columbiana Schools for the hearing impaired students. Barbara Ann was a member of the Salem First Friends Church, Encouragers Class, Mission Connection, Buckeye Dairy Boosters and volunteered at the Salem Hospital and for Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed reading, crafts, traveling and watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren play sports. Her husband, Joseph Lamancusa, whom she married January 9, 1954, preceded her in death December 15, 2002. A grandson, Daniel Schacht also preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons, Mark (Becky) Lamancusa of Pickerington, Ohio, Michael (Lori) Lamancusa of Stow and Andy Lamancusa of Salem; four daughters, Barbara (John) Biery of North Benton, Mary Kay (Dan) Rea of Salem, Lisa (David) Schacht of Canal Winchester, Ohio and Laurie Lamancusa of Youngstown; a sister-in-law, Nancy Lamancusa of Youngstown; brother, Leo (Michelle) Leonhart of Tucson, Arizona; brother-in-law, Tony (Diane) Lamancusa of Baltimore, Maryland; 17 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
