Barbara Ann Hendrix Britt, 75, of Kannapolis passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on September 9, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Elsie Whitman and Otis Bee Hendrix.
Barbara graduated from high school in Troy, NC. She was a professional painter. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Barbara.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Tammy Britt Starnes; her sons, Daniel Wilford Britt, Thomas Allen Britt; brothers, Charles Conrad Hendrix, David Leroy Hendrix, and Ray Hendrix; sister, Glenda Jordan. She was a proud Mamaw to grandchildren, Ashlyn Starnes Farrow, Tyler Lynn Starnes, Breeanne Britt, Joshua Britt, Patrick Britt, and Lucas Britt; and great-grandchildren, Jada Wynn Farrow, Reid Lynn Starnes, and Cohan Britt.
