Barbara Ann (Borges) Dias, 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 13, 2021. Born on March 18, 1933, she was raised in Bristol RI, the daughter of the late John Borges and Anna Castro Borges. She graduated from Bristol Senior High School in 1952.
Barbara was a dedicated Christian who labored in prayer for her family, children, and grandchildren, that they be reconciled with God through Salvation in Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her five children, Deborah Wallace (Stephen), Wiscasset, ME, Barbara Moore (Gery), Riverside RI, Gail Pereira (Michael), Warren RI, Joseph Dias Jr., Warren, RI, and David Dias (Renee) West Yarmouth, MA, eight grandchildren, Dean and Clinton Gold (Kacy), Jared (Audrie) and Kyle Moore, Bethany Rivera (Josh), Benjamin, Jason, and Seth Dias, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Barbara is predeceased by her son Robert, brother John Borges Jr., and granddaughter Charlotte Wallace.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at St. Elizabeth Manor in Bristol for the loving care they provided to Barbara during her residency over the last 12 years.
