Barbara Alice (Keller) Miley, 78, of Centralia, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Centralia Manor due to complications from Alzheimer’s disease.

Barbara was born May 31, 1940 in Pyle, Missouri the daughter of Everett and Alice (Russell) Keller. She married Clarence Miley on November 28, 1959 in Pontiac, Michigan and he preceded her in death on January 19, 1991.

Barbara is survived by two sons: David Miley and wife Kelly of Hendersonville, Tennessee, and Martin Miley and wife Sonia of Dix, Illinois; one daughter: Cindy Kessler and husband Keith of Centralia, Illinois; eight grandchildren: Adrian Miley and fiancé Kaitlyn Carmen of Sacramento, California, Taylor Miley of Hendersonville, Tennessee, Tripp Kessler of Champaign, Illinois, Lance Corporal Calvin Miley USMC of Camp Pendleton, California, Clare Kessler of Champaign, Illinois, Tess Miley and Lauren Miley of Dix, Illinois, Alice Kessler of Centralia, Illinois; two uncles: Jim Russell and wife Carrol of Dexter, Missouri, and Jerry Russell and wife Beverly of Battle Creek, Michigan; two aunts: Polly Sheets of Dexter, Missouri, Elsie Keller of Dexter, Missouri, four sisters-in-law: Evelyn Asa of Grand Blanc, Michigan, Dorothy Welch of Clemont, Florida, Rachel Evans and husband Mel of Leesburg, Florida, and Carolyn Malin of Evansville, Indiana; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Barbara worked at Linkon Auto Supply and Beck Transportation for many years and later as a caregiver. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and she was also an accomplished pianist. Of all her accomplishments, she will be remembered for being a devoted mother and grandmother.
