Barbara A Wertz, 67, of South Williamsport, died Friday, Oct. 11, 2013 at Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
Born Dec. 21, 1945 in Williamsport, she was a daughter to Jack Donald and Lucy Ann (Bussler) Stroup.
Barb was a 1963 graduate of Muncy High School and attended Williamsport School of Commerce. She worked at Sprout-Waldron-Kopper’s for 28 years as a supervisor in the word processing department. She enjoyed reading, sewing, baking, and trivial pursuit.
Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband of 47 years, Dale E. Wertz; two children, Lori (Barry) Welty and Matt Wertz, both of South Williamsport; four grandchildren, Ashley Wertz, Stephen Welty, Britney Wertz, and Brandan Welty; two great grandchildren, Alyson and Eli; two sisters, Mary Ruth Mull of Williamsport and June E. (Michael) Spring of Holland, MI; and a brother, Harry M. (Fay) Stroup of Huntingdon, PA.
