Barbara A. Sitler, 75, of 593 Valley Road, Nisbet, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 15, 2010, at her home surrounded by her family.
Barb and her husband, William E. Sitler, observed their 53 wedding anniversary on December 15, 2009.
Barb was a member of the Nisbet United Methodist Church where she was in the choir for over 50 years, a member of the Nisbet Women in Mission, Good News Club, a Sunday school teacher and a former Sunday School Superintendent.
Barb enjoyed time with her family and playing games.
Born Sept. 14, 1934 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Frederick F. and Glenna M. Shook McConnell.
Surviving in addition to her husband are daughters, Tami A. Huyck and Ken Hafer of Nisbet, Suzanne K. and Thomas Worth of Howard and Diana L. and Robert Worth of Linden; brothers, James F. Shook of South Williamsport and Herbert W. and Pat Shook of St. Petersburg, FL and seven grandchildren.
