Barbara A. Shelley, 72, of Salem, died at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at the Blossom Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born April 30 1941 in Canfield, Ohio, daughter of the late LeRoy M. and Mary Ann (Knox) Hough. She attended the Upper Room Ministries Church. Survivors include her husband, Charles Shelley, whom she married Sept. 1, 1959; a daughter Mary Ann (Mark) Korff of Salem; three sons, Charles “Chip” Shelley of Anchorage, AK, Donald L. Shelley of Canfield, John M. Shelley of North Lima; seven grandchildren, Sarah, Josuha, Chaz, Ashley, Alexis, Kristin, and Emilie; two great-grandsons, Zachary and Austin; nine sisters, June Hart, Mary Moore, Helena Moore, Betty Baird, Jean Hoprich, Amelia Cox, Eileen Bates, Shirley Secrest and Marion Spellman; and two brothers, Arthur Hough and Earl Hough. Two sisters, Eleanor and Anne Belle and two brothers, Leroy and Homer also preceded her in death.
