CAMBRIDGE CITY- Barbara A. Lowhorn, 72, of rural Cambridge City, passed away on Friday evening December 3, 2010 at the Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. A daughter of the late Sam and Effie Gertrude (Carr) Mercer, Barbara was born in New Castle, Indiana on March 22, 1938. A lifelong member of the Henry County community, Barbara graduated from Lewisville High School with the class of 1956. She had worked at Tri High School in the cafeteria, Jody’s Restaurant in Centerville and KFC in New Lisbon.
