Bambi Elder, 56, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2013, after battling the effects of a stroke that occurred on December 27, 2012. Even though for the last 8 years she has resided in Tow, Texas, she has always called Boerne home. Bambi is survived by her husband, Steve Elder; daughter, Stephanie Theis and her husband, Les; son, Chad Elder; grandchildren, Evan and Emma Theis; mother, Patricia Kossert; sisters, Wendy Graham, Dawn Kossert, and Tina (Perry) Bombard; brother, Scott Kossert; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Kossert (who died on Jan. 2, 2013).
