Averydon Trumbo moved to heaven to see his parents and his sister on January 30, 2019. He passed at 81 years old. He was born in Centralia, Illinois on October 25, 1937, the son of Oscar C. and Alma (Gowers) Trumbo. Mr. Trumbo attended Franklin School and Centralia High School. He owned and operated Trumbo Trucking Company and Warehouse Business for 35 years, having bought the business from his father in 1964.

Mr. Trumbo was a 32nd degree Mason, former member of the Centralia High School Board of Education, the Missouri Athletic Club, the Illinois Movers and Warehouse Association, and Centralia Elks Club. He supported the Centralia Area United Fund and was of Methodist and Lutheran faith. Mr. Trumbo was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Lularose (William) Armstrong.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Lela Trumbo of Centralia, son Avery (Christal) Trumbo of Massachusetts, daughters, Tina (Mike) Martens of Ohio, Lori Trumbo of South Carolina, Ann (Matt) Grasher of Illinois, grandsons Christopher and Lucas Trumbo, Sophia Martens, Henry and Olivia Grasher. He is also survived by nieces ,Marilyn (Joe) Brookman, and Lucretia (David) Hopkins and their sons, Harrison and Thomas all of Kentucky, along with cousins Yvonne (Doug) Morris of Missouri and David Miller of Centralia. He is also survived by sister-in-law Edie Oestreich and Winnie Miller.
