Together they had 11 children: Enrique Vega, Austreberto Vega, Sergio Vega (deceased), Elsa Vega, Lauriano Vega, Roque Vega, Mizael Vega, Graciela Arteaga, Elizabeth Tovar, Otoniel Vega and Yaneth Gomez. He is survived by 50 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
