A native of Picayune, MS he was a Carpenter/Contractor, Farmer, Logger, true Cowboy in life and spirit and a member of the Union Baptist was a loving and devoted husband of 65 years, a father, grand-father, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed by all who loved was proceeded by death by his parents, Rufus Mitchell and Louisa Mitchell and his brother, Haywood “Buster” to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife, Jeanette Mitchell; his children Karen (Carl) Myers, Christine (Wayne) Williams, Michael Mitchell and Terry (Sandra) Mitchell; his grandchildren, Brandon (Keri) Williams, Casey Myers, Karalee (Chis) Artzer, Corey Williams, Jasmine (Jesse) Lowe, Marissa Williams; 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.2 Timothy 4:6-86 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
