Augustin Orona Jr. passed away the 8th of August 2022 at his home in Hobbs, NM. He is survived by his loving wife Delia Orona. In addition to his wife of 53 years, Augustin is survived by his children Deana Aldrete, and fiancée Sam Urias, Dana Orona Batie, Augustin Orlando Orona and wife Hollie Orona. Augustin is survived by 8 grandchildren Christopher Ray Aldrete, Cameron Ray Orlando Aldrete, Kylani Batie, Zoe Batie, Connor Griffin, Darian Meridyth, Paige Meridyth, and Madison Orona, 2 Great Grandchildren Blayden Griffin and Willow Griffin. Augustin is the son of deceased Father Augustin Orona Sr. and deceased Mother Martina Orona. He is survived by 4 Sisters and 2 deceased Brothers.
Augustin Orona was born December 13,1944 in Otis, NM. He graduated from Hobbs High School. Augustin served in the United States Army from June 1966 – June 1968 and fought in the Vietnam War during this time. He retired from Nolan H. Brunson, Inc. after 38 years. Augustin enjoyed hunting, working in his garden and welding projects.
