Augusta Belle Brockman Stinson, 95, of Ft. Oglethorpe, died Friday, August 18, 2017 in a local assisted living home. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and was of the Baptist Faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Sadie and Ashley Rozell; her husband: Robert E. Stinson, a son: Charles Ellis Brockman, and a granddaughter: Stephanie Sweatmon.
She is survived by two daughters: Brenda (Gene) Sweatmon and Barbara Poindexter, and a daughter-in-law: Martha Brockman, all of Ringgold, and 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Rosewood Assisted Living and Tapestry Hospice for the love and care given to Mrs. Stinson.
