August McWilliams, age 82, a resident of Boerne since 1961, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2011. Born in Mason, TX, on August 1, 1928, he was the son of Isaac J. McWilliams and Hannah Butler McWilliams. “Mac” retired after 41 years with Civil Service at Camp Bullis, Ft. Sam Houston and Kelly. Preceded in death by his parents, Mr. McWilliams is survived by his wife of 63 years, Nelva June McWilliams; children, Dianne Kountz, Alan McWilliams (Deborah), and Kevin McWilliams; grandchildren, Patrick Kountz (LaRae), Tamorah McWilliams, Danielle Klingaman (Coby), and Wayne McWilliams; great grandchildren, Delaney Klingaman, Wyatt Klingaman, Dustin Kountz, and Cody Kountz.
