Audrey Virginia Bolyard, 90, of Tunnelton, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born August 14, 1920 in Tunnelton, daughter of the late Roy and Ada Frey Johnson. She attended Tunnelton High School and went to work at the shirt factory. She cleaned for the Tunnelton Post office and several homes in the local area. Audrey loved watching TV, shopping and gardening. She was a lifetime member of the Colonel Rowan VFW Post 2345 Ladies Auxiliary and attended the Christian Evangelical Church when she was able. Surviving is one daughter, Pauline V. Pratt and husband William; daughter-in-law, Debbie J Bolyard, all of Tunnelton; three grandchildren, Richard Eugene Bolyard and companion Cheridi Olsen, James Robert Pratt, all of Tunnelton, Holi L Livengood and husband Scott of Valley Point; six great grandchildren, Kandace Melsinger, Kody Bolyard, Kory Bolyard, Alexander Bolyard, McKenzie Livengood and Emma Livengood; two great great grandchildren, Nacoa and Troy Melsinger; one brother, Jimmy Johnson and wife Betty, Tunnelton; two sister-in-laws, Virginia Haddix and husband Jim, and Elizabeth Hawkins of Newburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester Clifford Bolyard; two sons, Eugene Bolyard and Clifford Bolyard in infancy; one brother, William Johnson; two sisters, Beulah Sanders and husband Wilbert and Sarah Johnson, sister-in-laws, Loray Johnson, Catherine Marie Williams; brother-in-law, Vincent Eugene Bolyard.
