Audrey J. Doud, 87, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away June 21, 2019. She was born November 2, 1931 in Salisbury, Wilts, England to Hubert Roland and Alice Louisa Targett.
Audrey attended 14 years of school pursuing a degree but had to drop out after her father passed away; she worked in a carpet factory for a short while. She meet Bob a military man while at a U.S.O. function, and from there a romance blossomed; after a brief courtship the two were wed. Audrey married Robert E. Doud May 17, 1952 in Salisbury, England. They became new parents shortly afterwards with the birth of their daughter Beverlee. A little over a year after their first child was born, Bob got orders to move back to the states and Audrey moved away from her family and friends for the first time.
After moving stateside to California, a son Stephen was born, then another move to Hawaii where two daughters were born Tracy and then Kim. Another move to Nebraska before moving overseas again to Germany where a fifth child Andrew was born.
