Audrey Holland Beck, age 88, born in Suffolk, Virginia in 1935, passed away on August 20, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Mabel Drake Holland Wilkins and Paul Bowden Holland, and stepdaughter of the late James Wallace Wilkins. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty years, Philip E. Beck. Also passing before her was her brother, James Hugh Holland (Maureen); sister-in-law Barbara D. Holland; and niece Mieke H. Heffren. She was a longtime member of Main Street United Methodist Church. When her boys were young, she was a Den Mother for the church’s Cub Scout pack. She was also an avid bowler. Later in life, she graduated from Old Dominion University with a degree in elementary education. She retired from the Suffolk City Schools after many years of teaching.
