Audrey Ellen Lagle (Audrey Branson), 68, of Grand Junction, CO went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 3, 2022, after passing away peacefully in her sleep. Audrey suffered a traumatic brain injury late September 1999 after a near fatal motorcycle accident. Major, extensive injuries required Audrey be cared for in a number of different care facilities over 20+ years in several parts of Oklahoma, Colorado, Arkansas, and Louisiana. Audrey most recently resided at Hilltop Life Adjustment Program in Grand Junction, CO.
Audrey’s family and friends remember her as a loving, hardworking, and wonderful mother to her three children: Levi, Leah, and Laci. She was the most beautiful woman, inside and out, and taught her children to love and follow Jesus. She was kind, thoughtful, and loving and so many adored her great sense of humor. Prior to the brain injury Audrey worked for Ditch Witch in Perry, OK in the marketing department as the Public Relations Media Coordinator where she had been for nearly 15 years. She had a special gift of working with people and traveled to many parts of the world sharing her talents in coordinating tradeshows for Ditch Witch.
She has fought so hard since her accident and gave it her all to continue & try to get better. She never quit trying to do normal things and live a normal & independent life. We know that Audrey’s faith in Jesus has earned her a new glorified, heavenly body and she is now with the Creator of the universe and nothing can ever hurt her again. She will be in our hearts and minds until we meet again someday.
We are so thankful for all of the calls, messages, texts, hugs, tears, and laughs that we have received from so many that knew and loved Audrey.
Audrey is preceded in death by her father and mother Forrest & Mildred, and her brothers Jeff, Greg, and Paul. She is survived by her three children Levi & wife Jessica, Leah & husband Monte, and Laci & husband Michael; her 10 grandchildren Coleson, Adrienne, Eden, Caleb, Ashlyn, Isaac, Adelyn, Brooklyn, Danny, and Gia; her 4 sisters, Winnie, Marsha, Dorothy & Rebecca and brother Jonathan.
