Audrey Elizabeth Polleck, 89, passed away peacefully in Salisbury, NC on July 27, 2014 following a long illness.
Born on January 12, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Margaret (Crull) Barninger.
A long standing member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Loyal Order of the Moose and Fraternal Order of Eagles, she was a Past Madam President of 3496 Aerie in Orlando, FL. She worked for the War Department during WWII and was both the wife and mother of career military members. She was a staunch supporter of veterans’ service organizations.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Charles “Buck” Polleck and son Gary Lynn Polleck.
She is survived by son, Ric Polleck and wife Ginger; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
