Audrey E. Henn, of Jewett City went home on November 20, 2021.

She was born in the Bronx on February 3, 1939. She left the Bronx in 1956 to start a family in Jewett City.  The girl might have left the Bronx, but the Bronx never left the girl.

Beautiful inside and out, she always led with her heart.  Always giving, always caring.  Family first and foremost, her home was your home.  Her hugs were legendary.

She was a lifetime member of the Jacques Cartier Club and the American Polish Citizens Club, as well as an honorary member of the VFW.

BINGO!!! If there was a game being played near or far she was there. From early days at the Knights of Columbus in Jewett City, to High Stakes Indian bingo at Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun, as well as bus trips including Penobscot Maine and Turning Stone Casino in Verona, New York.  We can finally say she’s in Bingo heaven!

Being from the Bronx, she was a huge Yankee fan, but also honored her dad by cheering for the Mets.  She also loved her NASCAR, especially “The Rainbow Warrior”, Number 24, Jeff Gordon.

She is survived by longtime companion Robert Barbeau, son James P. Henn (Lauren), daughter Audrey M. Henn (Lee), son Michael J. Henn and his wife Lisa, grandchildren John Henn, Jr., Katrina Henn, Shaun Henn, and Lee Barr, Jr., as well as great grandchildren McKayla Henn, Skye-Lynne Ward, and Brayden Henn, and an extended family in Missouri.  She was predeceased by her beloved son, John T. Henn, Sr., and her feline companion Gizmo.
