Audrey B. Poole, 83 of Greensburg, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018 at her home.
She was born June 21, 1935 in Harrison City, a daughter of the late Benjamin A. and Nora (Hill) Bollinger.
Audrey was an active member of the First Reformed United Church of Christ where she enjoyed the Friendship Circle and the Christian Fellowship Class. She was also an active member of the Aerobic Center and the Red Hat Society. Audrey also enjoyed bowling.
Audrey and her late husband were the owners of Poole’s Mushroom Farm for 33 years. Audrey retired from AMI Duduco in 2005.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn B. Poole; sisters, Mary Cline, Betty Bollinger and infant sister, Thelma Bollinger; two half brothers, Herb and Ben Bollinger; and a half sister, Lottie Loughner.
Surviving are her children, Benjamin Poole and wife, Diane of Clearmont, Florida, Melissa Nicholson and husband, Jerry of Norvelt, and Marsha Poole of Eagle River, Alaska; four grandchildren, Eric Weaver (Sonya), Amy Schanz (Randy), Ashley Poole (Chad Seide), and George Albright (Jessileigh Heide); nine great grandchildren; sisters, Delouris Keibler and Mae Stull; brother, Daniel Bollinger; and dear companion, Alan Obley and his family.
Audrey’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. William Winslow and his team from Excela Latrobe Square and Heartland Hospice, especially Lanny, Susan, Sherri and Pastor Marty.
