Audrey A. Newman, age 74 of Norwalk, died on Monday, March 14, 2011 at Norwalk Hospital. Born in Norwalk, the daughter of the late Sven and Claire (Blanerick) Johnson, she was the wife of Bernard Newman for 50 years. A loving family woman, Audrey enjoyed gardening, cooking and helping raise her grandchildren. In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her son Peter M. Newman, her daughter Jane F. Gentile and her husband David, all of Norwalk, 4 cherished grandchildren; Diana and Christopher Newman and Joseph and Jenna Gentile, as well as many nieces and nephews.
