Audie Chad Rodgers, age 66, of Hilltop Lakes, Texas, was called home to his eternal home in Heaven on Wednesday, the 11th day of May 2022. Chad was born on the 10th day of November 1955, in Pasadena, Texas, to parents Hubert Monroe Rodgers and Rosalie Taylor Rodgers.
Chad worked for Wal-Mart as a truck driver for over 15 years, Trimble Swabbing, Inc., and retired from XTO after many years with the company. Chad was also the owner of Dogwood Bicycles in Palestine for several years. He was extremely mechanically minded and good with his hands, which made him the “go-to man” when it came to fixing anything. Chad enjoyed riding and working on motorcycles, wood working, and creating knives. To say Chad was a hard-working man would be an understatement. Chad dearly loved his wife, Pamela, and the life they built together. He approached each day with optimism fueled by his faith in God. Chad will always be loved and missed by his family and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Hubert and Rosalie Rodgers, and sister, Debbie Holland.
Chad is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Pam Rodgers; brothers, Roy Raymond Rodgers and wife Carol, and Yancy Monroe Rodgers and wife Joan; brother-in-law, J.R. Holland; and many friends.
Immediately following, all are invited to gather with the family and share remembrances of Chad during a reception in the Rhone Reflection Room.
