Atty. William P. Kardaras, 83, a prominent Wall Street attorney, of Mamaroneck, N.Y., passed away July 16, 2013 in SoundShoreMedicalCenter, New Rochelle, N.Y. He was a loving and caring husband for 57 years to his wife, Jean Frontis Kardaras. Born in New Haven, CT. on Jan. 14, 1930, he was the son of the late Peter and Anastasia Christopoulos Kardaras. He graduated from the University of Connecticut and New YorkLawSchool. While completing his education, Mr. Kardaras worked full time as a insurance investigator on the New York Waterfront. He joined the maritime law firm of Bigham Englar Jones & Houston and quickly rose to senior partner and member of the executive committee of the firm. He left to form his own law firm with offices on Wall Street and in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. He litigated multidistrict, multinational, and multimillion dollar matters.
