Atanacio (LOLO) Fajardo Señeres, . 3, 1935 – Jan. 8, 2012SSG Atanacio (LOLO) Fajardo Señeres Jr (USA retired), 76, born in Manila, Republic of the Philippines travelled the globe, while in the service of the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Lookout and in the U.S. Army in Germany (two tours), Kentucky and Louisiana. He and his wife; Mary J. Señeres spent two and half decades raising three children and retired in Providence, Rhode Island. He was a husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, friend, sailor, soldier and tradesman, he lived a captivating life. A member of the National Rifle Association and collector of antiquities, he restored and made everything he came across better than it was; to exacting standards. An astute and avid learner of history, etymology, and anthropology; there was never an absence of critical thinking when in his presence. He was an enthusiastic spectator of sports, especially when his children and grandchildren were participating. He followed Huxley’s advice and learned something about everything. He will be forever missed, loved and was preceded in death, by his parents, Atanacio Señeres and Feloteya Fajardo, his wife, Mary J. Señeres and two sisters, Elena Señeres-Alaan and Mercy Señeres-Joven. He is survived by his children, Mr. David J. Señeres, SFC Anita L. Señeres-Watts (USA, Ret) and Capt Robert A.F. Señeres (USMCR), his sisters; Magdalena Señeres-Guinto, Elsa Señeres-Mayor, Loty Señeres-Pumar, Gloria Señeres-Largoon and grandchildren SrA Blaine R. Savage (USAF) and Beler H. Watts IV.
