Mrs. Aslee Wilson Cockren, 86, of The Evergreens Senior Healthcare, died Monday, June 11, 2007 at the nursing facility.
Mrs. Cockren was born August 6, 1920 in Newberry, South Carolina, a daughter of Viola Rennick. For most of her adult life she was a resident of Coachville, Pa., where she was a retired supervisor in the sewing division of Revco Manufacturing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Cockren; one son; one daughter; parents; two sisters; and one brother.
Survivors include: one son, Brown (Vivian) Cockren of Thomasville; adopted son, Antonio Wilson of West Chester, Pa.; 20 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; two brothers, Tommy Rennick of Philadelphia, Pa., and Joe Wilson of Thomasville; one sister, Rosa DeCarlo of Philadelphia, Pa.; a special niece, Mickey DeCarlo of Philadelphia, Pa.; a very dear family, the Wheelers, of Reidsville, N.C.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
