Arvena Bernice Schuring was born on July 2, 1929, to Clarence H. G. and Bernice A. (Dabb) Rietveld on a farm near Swan, Iowa. She passed away Thursday, May 19, 2011, at the Hospice of Pella Comfort House.
Arvena enjoyed being a mother and homemaker and especially liked baking chocolate chip cookies for her family.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of sixty-three years, Jacob, of Pella, four children and their spouses, fourteen grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren, as listed below.
