MAPLETON – Arturo Silva Jr., 38, of Mapleton, IL, passed away at 6:05 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2016, in the emergency room of Graham Hospital in Canton, IL, due to injuries suffered from a natural gas explosion.
He was born on July 3, 1978, in Peoria, the son of Arturo and Maria Anaya Silva Sr.
Surviving are his parents; and one brother, Danny Silva; along with a host of many other family members.
Arturo was a 1997 graduate of Illini Bluffs High School in Glasford, IL.
