Arthur William Speece, age 96, of Beloit, died at 10:34p.m. , Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at the Salem Community Hospital. Mr. Speece was born October 3, 1917 in Sistersville, West Virginia, the son of the late Hugh Oliver and Nettie (Flinn) Speece. He was a retired Welder for the Boilermakers Union 744 in Cleveland, Ohio where he had worked for 35 years and was a W.W. II U.S. Navy veteran His wife, Naomi (Henderon) Speece preceded him in death February 17, 2006. Two daughters, April Speece and Shirley E. Betz also preceded him in death. He is survived by a son, Arthur “Bill” (Carol) Speece, II of Salem, 2 daughters, Linda Speece and Donna Mather both of Alliance, Ohio, an adopted daughter, Angel Beach of Beloit, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
