Arthur Wade “Otts” Taylor, 94, formerly of Glen Burnie died in Severna Park on Friday, June 14, 2013. Born November 5, 1918 in Baltimore, son of the late Olive Jane (nee Wade) and Arthur Henry Taylor. He was the husband of the late Genevieve A. (nee Headley) Taylor whom he married on September 28, 1940 and who died September 11, 2006.
Surviving are sons, Arthur W., Jr. of Severna Park, Roger A. and wife, Barbara of Pasadena, Jean A. Fowler of Pasadena and Carol D. Smith of Hampstead, and sister, Juanita Kurka of Islip, New York; 11 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, four step great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.
He served in World War II in the Pacific Theatre as an airplane mechanic in the Navy Reserves and retired from Western Electric after 41 years. He was a member of Glen Burnie United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Wesley and Albert Taylor, sisters, Olive Renshaw, Naomi Trego and Eunice Ohlverta.
