Arthur was published more than 155 times in medical journals and was the Editor of the Atlas of Diagnostic Oncology. He also served as Editor of the Diagnosis in Oncology section of the Journal of Clinical Oncology from 1997 to 2010 and was a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Chest Physicians.
He will be remembered most for his kindness, optimism and generosity. The best way to honor Arthur is to be kind to everyone – go out of your way to say hello and treat everyone with respect.
