Arthur E. Sullivan, 81, of Franklin, passed away Monday, November 19, 2018. He was born to John and Nellie Sullivan in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Arthur was a produce manager at Standard Grocery for many years. He was married to Judy Sullivan for 55 years. After her passing, he married his childhood girlfriend, Donna (Sowders) Sullivan.
Arthur loved to travel. He travelled whenever he was able. He enjoyed playing horse shoes and going to picnics.
Arthur was very family oriented. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Arthur enjoyed listening to country and gospel music. He was a sports fanatic.
Arthur’s home was a divided household, being fans of both Purdue and Indiana University. He loved to make people laugh.
Arthur was proud to be a farmer and a part of the farming community. In his down time, Arthur enjoyed writing. Arthur loved a good piece of Coconut Cream Pie.
Arthur is survived by his wife; Donna (Sowders) Sullivan, his children; Kevin (Linda) Sullivan, Neva (Gary) Hampton, and Jerry (Lisa) Sullivan, his sister; Georgetta Flory, his brothers; Frank and Chuck Sullivan, his grandchildren; April, Laura, Bethany, Ariel, Jason, Joy Anna, Ken, Erica, and Tyler, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Arthur was preceded in death by his first wife; Judy Sullivan, his parents, Nellie and John Sullivan, his brother; Johnny Sullivan, his sisters; Judy Kendall and Norma Nunes, and great-grandson; Haddon Hampton.
