Arthur Sims III, age 60, of Harlingen, Texas earned his wings on Friday, November 26, 2021. He was born February 12, 1961, in Harlingen to Arthur and Eugene Sims Jr.
Arthur is preceded in death by his parents and a host of relatives.
He was a truck driver for many years until he fell ill. Arthur was a member of Corinth Baptist Church where he was baptized and proudly served as an usher. He was an avid fisherman and hunter who was always ready for dove season. Arthur proudly played football for the Harlingen Cardinals. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends, aka his “Parnitos,” watching his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys. Arthur will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory, his loving wife, Esmeralda Elva Sims; two daughters, Tära Sauceda and Michtre Carroll (Tyrone); one son, Russell Williams; five grandchildren, Zander Carroll, Zakry Carroll, Jorge Bermea Jr., Edward Bermea, and Joseph Bermea (Lita); three great grandchildren, Lucas Bermea, Freya Bermea, and Kassanova Bermea; and uncle and aunt, Rodorth and Dorothy Chandler.
