Husband, Father, Grandpa, Great-Grandpa, and Friend, Arthur “Rusty” Forsythe joined his many family and friends who went before him on June 4th, 2017. Arthur was born on January 31st, 1946 in Cadiz, Ohio. He joined the Army and fought for our country in Vietnam, then went on to the National Guard where he retired in ’86. He ended his career at Boeing in Mesa when he retired in 2001. Rusty and his loving wife Rosemary “Cookie” then went to Flagstaff, loved it, and decided to build a house and live the rest of their lives in the beautiful surroundings.
Arthur was a real hero to everyone who knew him. Along with his wife Cookie, he leaves behind his three daughters Angela (Lars) Peterson, Mary (Todd) Franz, and Wendy (George) Frederick. Also his grandchildren Adam (Jessica) O’Connor, Joshua O’Connor, Brett Peterson, Monique (Corbin) Tervo, Sarah and A.J. Frederick, and Dawson Franz, along with his very beloved great-grandchildren Alexis, Katelyn, Lily, Ian and Noah O’Connor, and Brooklyn and Alyson Tervo.
