Arthur R.
Arthur was born in Whitinsville, June 13, 1942, a son of Michael and Helen (Fitzpatrick) Courtemanche, and lived here most of his life. He also lived in Sutton for 20 years. He was a graduate of Northbridge High School and the University of Bridgeport, and he taught social studies at Nipmuc Regional High School more than 25 years, retiring in 2005.
A man of many interests, Arthur was a world traveler whose adventures took him to many exotic places, including Tanzania, where he successfully climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, at the age of 72.
