Arthur “Art” Robert Anderson, 64, passed away July 27, 2013. Art was born in Mangilao Villiage, Guam to Joseph Francisco and Urelia Anderson. Art achieved a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Oklahoma. He proudly served his country in the US Army for 23 years earning a bronze star before retiring as a 1st Sergeant in 1991.
He loved his family and enjoyed playing and teasing all those around him. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed being outdoors casting a line or playing golf with his friends. He enjoyed gardening, landscaping and tinkering around the house. Art’s family and friends will remember him for his ability to make them laugh.
Art was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, Joseph, David, George and John; father-in-law, Matthew Hack, Sr. Survivors include his wife of 37 years Doris; son, Andrew Joseph Anderson and wife Melissa of OKC, OK; one daughter, Leslie Anderson and husband Tyler Haley of Noble,OK ; one brother, Peter Francisco and wife Annie of Guam; three sisters, Evelyn Francisco of Camas, WA, Patricia Mendiola of Guam, Cecilia Navarro and husband Ernie of Guam; Brother in-law Matthew Hack Jr., and wife Connie of Norman, Ok and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
