Arthur Peter Manfredi, of Brighton passed away August 6, 2015 after a long illness. He was born October 5, 1953 in Flushing, NY to Arthur and Regina Manfredi. He graduated from Flushing High School in New York. Arthur received numerous certifications as a Master Adjuster for Nationwide Insurance.
Arthur was a strong, brave, and intelligent man. Even though he suffered with Crohn’s disease since he was 16 years old, he never let it get in his way. Despite his constant health issues, he fought every day to be a loving and supportive husband, father, and grandfather. Nothing stopped him. Prior to becoming investigator for Nationwide Insurance he owned a marine repair business in Long Island followed by a career with United Airlines where he met his wife of 33 years, Lorraine. Together they raised three wonderful children.
Prior to moving to Colorado, Arthur was an avid member of the Mustang Club of America and Saturday Night Cruisers, where he would proudly drive his 2009 Highland Green Mustang Bullitt. In addition to his passion for cars, he was an avid fisherman. Though he spent much time salt water fishing off Long Island, his passion was freshwater bass fishing; a love of which he passed down to his children. He loved the serenity of fishing Alpine Lakes in upstate NY.
Arthur leaves behind his sweetheart and wife, Lorraine, his children Arthur Daniel Manfredi of Commerce City, Lauren Elyse Manfredi of Brighton, Vincent Dennis Manfredi of Brighton, Tracy Manfredi of Commerce City, and his young grandsons, Giovanni Manfredi and Julian Manfredi of Commerce City. In addition he is survived by his sister Christine Bernet and brother in-law Lawrence Bernet of Flushing, NY and nieces and nephews.
Arthur was predeceased in death by his parents, Dr. Arthur Manfredi and Regina Pennisi-Manfredi.
