Arthur O. Emmerling, 81, of Anderson, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017 in Muncie, IN. He was born February 26, 1936 in Elwood, IN to the late Fred and Blanche (Owen) Emmerling. Art had attended The Bridge Church in Fortville, was a member of the Fortville F & AM Lodge No. 207 and the Fortville Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 149.
He retired from Ontario Systems in 2001. Art is survived by children: Michael (Ginger) Emmerling of Noblesville, Tom (Terri) Emmerling of Alexandria, Robin (Curt) Simpson of Dover, FL, Jill Emmerling of Anderson and Mitzi (Ted) Pruitt of Anderson; step-son: John “Richie” (Pam) Lindamood of Edinburg, IN; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters: Ann (Glenard) Hogue of Livingston, TN and Madonna Padgett of Kokomo; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Jerry Emmerling in 2014; step-sons: David and Douglas Lindamood; brother Michael Emmerling and grandson Craig Lindamood.
