Arthur L. Burton 94, of Ottawa, died Sunday, May 26, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Art was born on May 31, 1918, in Harvard, IL to Ezra and Ida (Lebo) Burton. He married Anna Marie Hage on November 4, 1938 in Harvard, IL. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of WWII, serving in Alaska. He was a Dean Milk Distributor for over 60 years. He was a member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Deer Park Country Club.
He is survived by his wife, Anna; a daughter, Bonnie (Larry) McGrogan of Ottawa; a son, Ronald Burton of Salt Lake City; five grandchildren, Karen (Chico) Corsolini, Beth Melvin, Michael (Barb) McGrogan and Brian (Amy) Burton and Kelly (Craig) Edwards; eleven great-grandchildren; a sister, Doris Conley of St. Charles, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Walter, Charles and Eugene Burton Pallbearers will be his five grandchildren and a great-grandson, Zachary McGrogan.
