Layton – Arthur L. Miramon, 90, passed away January 31, 2014. He was born November 23, 1923 in Taos, New Mexico to Alfredo and Carmel Baca Miramon. He married Alvina Ramirez on September 18, 1950 in Douglas, Arizona.
He served in the Army during WWII. He attended Taos High School, the University of Arizona, and UCLA. He was a member of the Catholic Church. He enjoyed painting, hunting, fishing, gardening and writing.
He is survived by his wife, Alvina; daughter, Sally Miramon; sister, Lena Lint; and brother, Ernesto Miramon. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Alfredo; and sister, Emily.
