Arthur Joseph Carnes Pigg, 73, of Viola, Arkansas, departed this life on Monday, March 14, 2022, in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
He was born on May 1, 1948, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Jay Cee Pigg, Sr. and Dorothy Barbara (Carnes) Pigg. Arthur was of the catholic faith and had been choir director at St. Mary of the Mount Church in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. He was ministered to by St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He spent his working years as a teacher. Arthur was a collector and liked collecting medieval games and figurines, and was also a writer and poet.
Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Jay Cee Pigg, Jr. (Patricia), his niece, Anne Marie (Pigg) Pettit, his nephew, Joseph Pigg (Rachel), and grand nephews Jacob and Matthew Pigg.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
