Arthur J Stepp, 95, of Anderson, passed away December 18, 2015 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.
He was born on March 25, 1920, and grew up in Black Mountain, NC. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII in 7 different countries. This included an assignment as driver for General Mark Clark.
He founded and operated Art’s Trim Shop in Anderson for 54 years, and worked in the industry 69 years. It was as much his hobby as his vocation.
He was still working thru this year. He was a former American Legion and Elks member. Arthur is survived by his loving spouse of 69 years, wife, Pearl (Williams) Stepp of Anderson; son, Jack (Kathy Wehrley (companion) Stepp of Anderson; daughter, Jill (Gary) Cameron of Anderson; granddaughter, Angela (Rob) Freestone, granddaughter, Andrea Kim (Jerry) Powers, grandson, Brian Cameron, grandson, Brent (Jen) Cameron, great grandsons, Brock (Ashley) Davis, Landen Freestone, Lance Freestone, great-great grandchildren, Emma Davis, Eli Davis.
He was preceded in death by mother, Cora Stepp; father, Arthur Stepp, Sr.; 11 Brothers and Sisters.
