Arthur F. Menne, 88, of Peru, passed away May 24, 2010 at St. Margarets Hospital, Spring Valley.
Mr. Menne was born January 6, 1922, in Peru to Edward and Frances (Yenger) Menne. He married Aleta Fay Carr on August 9, 1941 at St. Joseph Church, Peru. She passed away September 11, 2008. Mr. Menne was a WWII veteran serving in the United State Navy-Pacific Theatre. He worked as a machinist at Maze Nail for 45 years retiring in 1984. He was a member of St. Josephs Church, Peru, the America Legion and Millworkers Union Local 4271.
He is survived by a son Gregory A. (Jane) Menne of Allen. TX; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Aleta, a grandson, 2 brothers and a sister
