Arthur Ernest Eszes, Jr., 61, a resident of Glen Burnie, passed away on April 3, 2013 at his home. He was born in Baltimore, MD on October 25, 1951 to Ruth Hagedorn Eszes and the late Arthur Ernest Eszes, Sr. He graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1969 and also attended Anne Arundel Community College and University of Maryland Baltimore County. Arthur served in the United States Army from 1971-1973; he was a Vietnam veteran and was in President Nixon’s Honor Guard when Nixon met with the Emperor of Japan. He was employed with Chessie System as an account manager for 15 years and most recently with Lynden International for 15 years, where he travelled to Russia and Amsterdam. He was a member of the Glen Burnie United Methodist Church. Arthur enjoyed NASCAR and drag racing, an avid Orioles and Ravens fan and loved his cats. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one brother, Donald Eszes, Sr. and wife Donna; two nephews, Donald Eszes, Jr. and friend Emily Ward and Michael Scott, Jr. and wife Theresa; one great-niece, Olivia Scott and many friends and relatives.
