Arthur Edward “Ed” Reynolds, Jr., 79, of Moberly, died Thursday, May 4, 2017 at his home. He was born December 6, 1937 in Ravenna, OH to Arthur Edward, Sr. and Genevieve Edna (Herrick) Reynolds.

He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army, during the Vietnam War. He then moved to Eagle Mountain working for Kaiser Steel. He then moved to Hayfork, CA, and bought and ran a grocery store. Prior to retirement he owned and operated Ed-Mart Enterprises.

Ed married Martha Lucille Garvin, June 3, 1961 in Riverside, CA and she survives of the home. Also surviving are his children; Cindy Reynolds of Alturus, CA, Donna Blake and fiancé Jason Weaver of Gillette, WY, Julie Reynolds of Hayfork, CA, Kassie Buck and husband Shane of Huntsville, MO and Leslie Smith and husband Garr of Gillette, WY, ten grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Edna Guhl and husband Royce of Yuba City, CA and Caroline Embree and husband Danny of Centralia, MO, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, George and Caroline Herrick and one great-grandson, Braxton Allen Bailey.

He ran logging trucks, water trucks, raised boer goats, and was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed camping with the family. After retirement he moved to Missouri.
