Arthur E. Schneider, 80, passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021, in Scottsdale, AZ. He was born on August 30 , 1940, in St. Louis, MO. He is survived by his wife, Darla (Carr) Schneider, of 58 years, and daughters, Michelle Diane Schneider, Jenelle Lee Schneider, and neice, Robin (McGeehan) Glavaz.
Art was a graduate of Afton High School in St. Louis, Mo. He attended the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO, and Washington University in St. Louis, MO. His education led him to his career with Tension Envelope Corporation of Kansas City, Mo. He served as Vice President and General Manager of their Ft. Worth, TX, facility. Art retired from the corporation after over 40 years of service. He and Darla moved to Scottsdale, AZ in 2012.
Art’s interests included his family, golf, and cars. He shared these interests with his golf friends at Pinnacle Peak Country Club in Scottsdale, AZ. and with several of his long-time St. Louis high school car buddies.
He is predeceased by his parents, Arthur C. and Dorothy Schneider, his sister, Joyce Ann McGeehan, and cousins, Ken and Pat Kays.
